JOB DUTIES
Must maintain control of a large group of open play dogs in the playroom at all times to ensure a safe environment.
Behavioral issues addressed proactively in a timely and effective manner. This may include kenneling for “time outs” when necessary, and the use of verbal corrections.
Aware of environment at all times and consistently attends to any special needs dogs including dogs that need to be kenneled or moved play floors when dogs that cannot be together enter the play floor.
Play area is to be continually monitored and kept free of messes by immediate and continual spot cleaning throughout the shift.
Daily cleaning assignments which include sweeping, mopping, taking out the trash, refilling and replacing water bowls, vacuuming, washing dishes, cleaning toys, and doing laundry.
Daily and weekly cleaning assignments include scrubbing walls, floors, moving heavy kennels to clean inside and out, cleaning play yard patios, cleaning windows, cleaning play floor fans, and more.
Ability to work cohesively with team members in a respectful and professional manner.
Utilize company tools to communicate relevant information daily to the managers.
Maintain a positive attitude and demeanor in all aspects of their position including room management and customer service.
Maintain consistent time and attendance standards.
Be on time for scheduled shifts.
REQUIREMENTS
Must have open availability to work evenings and mornings.
Holidays and weekends required.
Professional dog handling experience preferred.
Must pass a 90-day probation period. Candidates must not call off or be late in their 90-day probation.
Reliable transportation.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Must be comfortable around all dog breeds and sizes.
6 month minimum customer service.
